Ellieroth and Michaud (EM) Employment-to-Quit Transition Rate tracks the probability at which U.S. prime-age (25-55 years) workers transition from employment to non-employment following a quit in a given month. Expressed as the share (percentage) of all prime-age employed workers in the previous month. Non-employment includes both unemployment and not in the labor force.
