2. Google User Data - Specific Disclosure
2.1 Google User Data Accessed
Our Google Sheets Add-on requests and accesses the following Google user data through the Google Sheets API:
- Spreadsheet Content (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets.currentonly): We access and modify ONLY the specific Google Sheets spreadsheets where you explicitly use our add-on. We read cell values to execute custom functions and write economic data retrieved from our API into cells you specify.

2.2 How We Use Google User Data
We use the Google user data accessed through our add-on exclusively for the following purposes:
- Executing Custom Functions: Reading function parameters (series IDs, dates, frequencies) from cells and writing economic data results back to your spreadsheet.
- Fetching Economic Data: Using your specified series identifiers to retrieve time series data from authoritative economic databases through our API.
- Local Data Storage: Storing your preferences (favorites, recent searches, API key) in Google Apps Script Properties Service, which remains private to you and is never transmitted to our servers.

All Google user data accessed by our add-on remains exclusively in your Google Sheets spreadsheet. We do not retain, copy, or store any of your spreadsheet content on our servers. Your API key and preferences stored in Apps Script Properties Service remain in your Google account and are not transmitted to us.
2.5 Compliance with Google API Services User Data Policy
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide and improve our add-on's core functionality as described above, and we do not transfer Google user data to others except as necessary to provide our service.

5.1 Local Storage
Your API key, favorites, recent series, and templates are stored locally in your spreadsheet or workbook using the platform's built-in storage mechanisms (PropertiesService for Google Sheets, OfficeRuntime.storage for Excel). We do not store this information on our servers.
5.2 Data Transmission
API requests are transmitted securely over HTTPS to datasetiq.com. Your API key is included in request headers to authenticate your account and determine your access level (free or premium).
5.3 Security Measures
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit, secure API authentication, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
