Every dataset is scored 0-100 based on four key quality dimensions:
High frequency updates, complete coverage, recent data. Best for critical analysis.
Regular updates, good coverage, reliable methodology. Great for most research.
Decent quality with some gaps. May need supplementary sources.
No missing values or gaps in the time series. Full coverage of the stated period.
How recently the data was updated. Current datasets score higher.
Stable methodology without frequent revisions or definition changes.
Length of historical data and geographic/sectoral breadth.
